the Renaissance 

The renaissance was a great period of time said to be raised in the 14 century  in Italy, this made Florence a great center of cultures, art, studies, religion, and an age of growing intelligence and discoveries. The renaissance was one of the greatest periods of growth as a country in the continent of Europe, especially for Italy. This made the Renaissance a great period of time for Florence because it was the point in time where the character and works of art that the city is famous were developed.
